Santa Fe Springs, CA – Injuries Reported in Collision on I-5 N/Florence Ave.
Santa Fe Springs, CA (April 20, 2025) – On the evening of April 20, a two-car crash on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 at the Florence Avenue exit left multiple individuals injured. The California Highway Patrol received reports of the crash just before 9:00 p.m. and dispatched officers and emergency responders to the scene. Paramedics provided medical attention at the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital for additional care. The severity of the injuries has not yet been publicly released.
Preliminary investigations suggest that both vehicles collided while changing lanes near the Florence Avenue off-ramp, but officials are still piecing together the events that led up to the crash. Both vehicles sustained moderate to significant damage and were later towed from the scene. CHP officers remained on site for some time to manage the scene and investigate.
