Santa Fe Springs, CA – Injury Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Artesia Blvd.

Santa Fe Springs, CA (April 27, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the Artesia Boulevard off-ramp caused injuries on April 27. Authorities from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the crash involving a blue Lexus NX450 and an unidentified vehicle. The accident occurred near the center divider, prompting a traffic break request southbound at Carmenita Road to assist with clearing the scene. First responders arriving at the site found the vehicles blocking multiple lanes. One or more individuals sustained injuries; however, officials have not yet confirmed the extent or severity. Injured parties received on-site assessment from paramedics and were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Investigators are still working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
