Seattle, WA – Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Near James St Leaves One Injured
Seattle, WA (September 30, 2024) – A three-vehicle crash occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 in downtown Seattle on Monday, September 30, just south of James Street. The collision happened shortly before 3 p.m. The Seattle Fire Department responded to the scene and worked to rescue a 41-year-old man trapped in one of the vehicles. After being extricated, the man was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition. Washington State Patrol and Incident Response teams also assisted at the scene, working to assess the damage and ensure the safety of other motorists.
