Seattle, WA – Two Individuals Injured on I-5 Collision Near The Seneca Street Exit
Seattle, WA (September 14, 2023) – Washington State Troopers (WSP) responded to a traffic collision that occurred early Thursday morning, September 14th on Interstate 5 in Downtown Seattle.
Prior to 5 a.m., emergency crews promptly responded to reports of a two-car collision within the northbound lanes of I-5, just south of the Seneca Street exit.
Seattle Fire officials disclosed that two individuals, a 43-year-old man and a 36-year-old man, were transported to Harborview Medical Center for medical attention.
According to information provided by the Washington State Department of Transportation, the southbound I-5 express lanes experienced delays in reopening due to the accident.
It wasn’t until around 7:30 a.m. that the collision site was successfully cleared.
At present, local law enforcement agencies are actively investigating the cause of the accident.
