Stockton, CA – Big Rig and Sedan Crash on I-5 at SR-4 Connector, Injuries
Stockton, CA (April 7, 2025) – A collision involving a gray Nissan Sentra and a big rig resulted in injuries on the northbound side of Interstate 5 at the State Route 4 East connector in Stockton on April 7. The California Highway Patrol arrived on the scene around 4:10 p.m.. Witnesses reported that the Sentra appeared to have been rear-ended or sideswiped by the large truck, though the exact cause is still under investigation. The impact left the sedan visibly damaged and leaking fluids. One occupant of the Nissan sustained injuries and was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel before being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The CHP is conducting a full investigation to determine liability and whether speed or driver error played a role.
