Stockton, CA – Big Rig-Car Crash on I-5 Leaves One Injured Near Hammer Lane

Stockton, CA (April 23, 2025) – A late-night collision involving a big rig and a passenger vehicle occurred on I-5 in Stockton on Tuesday, April 22. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. near Hammer Lane, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs. First responders, including the Stockton Fire Department and paramedics, arrived on the scene shortly after receiving emergency calls. One person sustained injuries in the crash and received immediate on-site medical evaluation. The injured party was later transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Their identity and the extent of their injuries have not yet been released. CHP officers worked quickly to secure the area and redirect traffic while emergency crews managed the scene.   The crash is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the collision.
