Stockton, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash with Injuries on I-5/French Camp Rd On-Ramp
Stockton, CA (April 21, 2025) – On the evening of April 20, a hit-and-run involving a semi-truck occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at the French Camp Road on-ramp in Stockton, leaving at least one person injured. According to reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the suspect vehicle—a semi-truck with the word “Evergreen” marked on its side—fled the scene following the collision. Officers arrived shortly before 5:00 p.m. and found the crash scene partially blocking the ramp, creating a hazardous traffic situation.
Emergency medical personnel responded quickly to assess the injured party. The individual sustained injuries of unknown severity and was treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Investigators from CHP’s Stockton division have launched a full investigation into the incident and are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward. Efforts to locate the truck and its driver are ongoing.
