Stockton, CA – Injuries in Crash Involving Semi-Truck on I-5 S/SR-120 Off-Ramp

Stockton, CA (May 6, 2025) – A traffic collision involving a white semi-truck and a white box trailer caused injuries on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the State Route 120 off-ramp in Stockton during the early hours of Tuesday, May 6. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident occurred just after sunrise, prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement and emergency crews. Injuries were reported, although the number of individuals hurt and the extent of those injuries remain unclear at this time. CHP officers and responding medical personnel assessed victims at the scene and believed they had been transported to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. Investigators from the CHP’s Stockton division are currently examining the circumstances that led to the collision.
