Stockton, CA – Injury on I-5 South at Fremont St Offramp, Multiple Vehicles Involved

Stockton, CA (June 24, 2023) – A traffic collision with injuries occurred on southbound I-5, just north of Exit 473, in District 10 near Stockton at around 6:15 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Freeway Service Patrol (FSP) arrived at the scene to assess the situation and provide assistance.

According to CHP reports, a gray Dodge Durango collided with a blue Hyundai Santa Fe, resulting in a front-end collision involving a silver sedan. All three vehicles involved were pulled to the right-hand shoulder.

Further details about the injuries sustained in the collision are currently unknown. However, emergency responders remained on standby at the scene, ready to assist any injured individuals, and later transported them to the hospital for treatment.

The FSP noted that the Toyota Camry AAA and the Dodge Durango were both drivable, while a tow truck was requested for the other two vehicles.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
