Stockton, CA – Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-5 S at Roth Rd. Ramp Injures Several

Stockton, CA (April 23, 2025) – A three-vehicle collision involving two black sedans and an unidentified third vehicle caused injuries and traffic disruption on I-5 South at the Roth Road on-ramp in Stockton during the late afternoon of April 23.

According to a report from the CHP’s Stockton Division, the crash happened at around 4:29 p.m. when the vehicles collided under still-unclear circumstances. One of the vehicles reportedly attempted to merge onto the highway when the incident occurred.

Emergency medical teams responded quickly and treated the injured victims on-site before transporting one person to a local hospital for further evaluation.

All other individuals were assessed at the scene and released. The crash resulted in traffic backups during rush hour as officers investigated and worked to clear the roadway. Authorities have launched a formal investigation into the incident.
