Stockton, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Near Hwy 4 Leaves One Injured
Stockton, CA (May 9, 2025) – On the afternoon of May 9, a two-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 5 near the Highway 4 interchange, resulting in one reported injury. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) received emergency calls around 3:07 p.m. and quickly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, officers discovered two vehicles involved in the crash, which had blocked at least two of the southbound lanes, causing traffic to slow in the area.
One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was evaluated by medical personnel at the scene. It remains unclear whether the injured individual required transport to a nearby hospital, but responders confirmed the injuries were not severe.
