Stockton, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5/SR-4 Off-Ramp Results in Injuries

Stockton, CA (January 28, 2026) – A two-vehicle traffic collision on I-5 northbound near the SR-4 west off-ramp caused injuries on Tuesday morning, January 28. CHP reports that a gray sedan and a box truck collided, with both vehicles coming to rest near the center divider. San Joaquin County Sheriff’s deputies assisted CHP at the scene.

Paramedics were dispatched after one occupant reported injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Another individual was treated on site.

Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles as lanes reopened. Authorities are reviewing available information to determine contributing factors.
