Stockton, CA – Vehicle Crash on I-5 On-Ramp Leaves One Injured

Stockton, CA (April 4, 2025) – A multi-vehicle rollover crash was reported on the evening of Friday, April 4, on the southbound Interstate 5 on-ramp near westbound Highway 4 in Stockton. According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs, the accident occurred around 8:23 p.m. when two vehicles collided and one of the vehicles involved overturned and landed on its side.

Emergency crews, including fire units and medics, responded swiftly to the scene. The driver of the vehicle sustained injuries. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was found inside the overturned vehicle and appeared to have suffered injuries. First responders assisted the victim at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The severity of the injuries has not been officially disclosed. CHP officers temporarily blocked the on-ramp to allow cleanup crews and investigators to work safely. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
