Thornton, CA (December 5, 2024) – A collision involving a big rig and another vehicle occurred Wednesday afternoon, December 4, on an I-5 ramp near Walnut Grove Road, resulting in injuries and a fuel leak. The accident was reported at around 2 p.m. by the California Highway Patrol. According to dispatch records, the big rig collided with another vehicle. Emergency crews, including the San Joaquin County Fire Department and local police, were dispatched to manage the situation and address the hazards.
