Tracy, CA – Injury Crash Involving Big Rig and Van on NB I-5 Near Howard Rd

Tracy, CA (March 1, 2025) – A collision involving a white van and a big rig occurred on March 1 morning on northbound Interstate 5 near the Howard Road on-ramp. The crash was reported at 7:37 a.m., prompting a response from American Medical Response (AMR) paramedics and the fire department. Emergency crews arrived to assist the injured and transport those needing further carea to area hospitals.

Reports indicated that one of the vehicles was 100 feet off the roadway but accessible via a dirt road. Patterson City Tow was dispatched to assist with vehicle removal. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the cause of the accident.
