Tustin, CA – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at Tustin Ranch Rd Leaves One Dead

Tustin, CA (November 25, 2024) – A deadly crash involving multiple vehicles occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 near Tustin Ranch Road early Monday morning, November 25.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision took place shortly after 3 a.m. when an SUV struck the concrete center divider, scattering debris across both sides of the freeway. The impact caused the SUV to overturn and catch fire. Emergency responders rushed to the scene but tragically confirmed that at least one person lost their life. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending family notification. The crash caused significant lane closures, leaving only the far-right lane open to traffic during cleanup and investigation efforts. Commuters faced delays for several hours as crews worked to clear the debris and restore normal traffic flow.
