Washington Co., OR – Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at I-205 Interchange
Washington County, OR (February 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on southbound I-5 near milepost 288, close to the I-205 interchange, led to the death of a man from Boring on Thursday evening, February 6. According to the Oregon State Police, the crash occurred around 6:44 p.m. when a gray Toyota Tundra, driven by 57-year-old Aleksandr Vasilevich Yevtushok, collided with a white Peterbilt semi-truck and trailer.
The semi-truck was operated by 55-year-old Marcelino Diaz Orozco of Salem. Emergency responders transported Yevtushok to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, but he later succumbed to his wounds. Orozco was not injured in the crash. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
