Westminster, CA – Injuries Reported in Hit-and-Run Crash on I-5 S/Disneyland Dr.

Westminster, CA (April 20, 2025) – A hit-and-run accident involving a Tesla and another vehicle left a driver injured on Interstate 5 south near Disneyland Drive during the early hours of Sunday, April 20. The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene shortly before 3:00 a.m. after receiving reports of the crash. Witnesses described one of the vehicles, identified as a Tesla, fleeing the scene after the collision. The second vehicle was left behind with visible damage, and the injured party was assisted by paramedics and later transported to a nearby hospital for care.

The accident led to lane closures and traffic disruptions while CHP officers gathered evidence and began searching for the hit-and-run driver. No further identifying details about the fleeing vehicle have been released at this time. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver of the Tesla.
