Westminster, CA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Artesia Blvd

Westminster, CA (March 30, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 South at Artesia Boulevard early Saturday morning, March 30, resulted in major injuries. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the accident around 6:15 a.m. Reports indicate that two vehicles sustained major damage, with one colliding against the right shoulder wall. Witnesses reported that one of the vehicles had been swerving before the crash.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and provided immediate medical assistance. One person suffered major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care. The exact number of injured victims remains unclear. Due to the severity of the accident, the HOV and number 1 lanes were temporarily closed as authorities worked to clear the wreckage. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles. The CHP is investigating the crash.
