Westminster, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N at Lincoln Ave. Leaves Injuries
Westminster, CA (April 28, 2025) – On the evening of April 28, a traffic collision involving injuries was reported on Interstate 5 North near Lincoln Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). At around 7:55 p.m., a white Toyota Prius and a Toyota RAV4 collided, coming to rest in the center divider of the freeway. Responding CHP units arrived at the scene and confirmed that both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage. At least two people were injured as a result of the crash.
Emergency responders provided first aid at the scene and arranged for tow trucks to remove the damaged vehicles. In addition to the crash itself, debris, including a pallet, was scattered across the left lanes north of Euclid Street, further complicating traffic conditions. The Freeway Service Patrol assisted with clearing debris to reopen lanes. CHP reported that one of the involved vehicles needed a second tow due to extensive damage. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the collision.
