Westminster, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/SR-91 Causes Injuries

Westminster, CA (October 29, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident on I-5 northbound at the State Route 91 interchange left several people injured Tuesday morning, October 29, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred around 8:00 a.m. and involved two passenger vehicles, which both sustained significant damage.

Emergency responders from the Westminster Fire Department and CHP arrived shortly after the crash and assisted victims, providing first aid at the scene. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries for additional medical treatment. Traffic was slowed as officers worked to clear the roadway and tow the damaged vehicles.

CHP officers are still investigating what caused the collision, but believe heavy morning congestion and unsafe lane changes may have contributed.
