Altadena, CA – Injuries in Tesla and Semi Crash on I-5 near Lankershim Blvd

Altadena, CA (July 27, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision involving a gray Tesla Model Y and a white semi-truck occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 5 near Lankershim Boulevard on the morning of Sunday, July 27, leaving at least one person injured. The crash was reported at around 9:59 a.m. and led to the vehicles resting on the right shoulder of the highway. A white Mercedes-Benz was also noted to be involved and was found nearby. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived quickly to treat those injured. One individual was reportedly transported to a local hospital for further care. CHP officers conducted a preliminary investigation on-site and are working to determine the sequence of events that led to the crash.
