Altadena, CA – Motorcycle Rider Injured in I-5 Crash at Colorado Blvd.

Altadena, CA (August 29, 2025) – A motorcycle rider was injured on Friday afternoon, August 29, in a collision on Interstate 5 South near Colorado Boulevard involving a white Toyota Corolla. The crash was reported around 1:20 p.m., drawing a response from the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Paramedics arrived within minutes and provided immediate treatment before transporting the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

The driver of the Toyota remained on-site and cooperated with authorities. Several vehicles stopped to assist until emergency crews secured the scene.

Traffic in the southbound lanes was briefly halted as responders cleared debris and ensured the rider received urgent care.
