Altadena, CA – Semi-Truck & Sedan Crash on I-5 Near Roscoe Blvd, Injuries

Altadena, CA (August 2, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision involving a copper-colored semi-truck and a red Honda Civic caused significant disruption and injuries along Interstate 5 North near the Roscoe Boulevard off-ramp on August 2. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene around 6:11 a.m. after receiving reports of the crash. First responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department were dispatched to the scene and evaluated the injured driver of the Civic for possible trauma. The extent of the injuries was not immediately disclosed, but an ambulance was seen leaving the site with at least one patient onboard. Tow services were requested for the Honda Civic, which had a broken front tire. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
