Altadena, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/W Olive Ave. Leaves Victims Injured

Altadena, CA (August 17, 2025) – On Sunday afternoon, August 17, a two-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near West Olive Avenue in Altadena, resulting in injuries. The responding officers from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) confirmed that emergency medical services quickly responded, and at least one person sustained injuries requiring immediate medical attention.

An ambulance was dispatched, and paramedics evaluated the victims on-site before transporting one individual to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Towing services removed the damaged vehicles, while CHP directed traffic around the accident. CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
