Capistrano, CA – I-5 S Collision Near La Paz Rd. Leaves Victims Injured

Capistrano, CA (August 19, 2025) – On Tuesday evening, August 19, a two-vehicle collision occurred along Interstate 5 South near La Paz Road, leaving multiple people injured. The crash happened around 7:04 p.m. when two vehicles collided in the center divider. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers responded promptly, and emergency medical crews assisted the injured at the scene. At least one victim was transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. CHP investigators are working to determine the cause of the accident.
