Los Angeles, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash on I-5 N/SR-118 Con. Leaves Injuries

Los Angeles, CA (August 25, 2025) – A hit-and-run collision on Interstate 5 northbound at the SR-118 connector left at least one person injured on August 25. The accident, which occurred just after 9:20 a.m., involved a gray sedan and another vehicle that fled the scene. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the victim’s vehicle, a gray sedan, was struck in the number 3 lane, forcing it onto the right shoulder. A nearby SUV was also affected by the crash.

When authorities arrived, they found one person with visible injuries who required immediate medical attention. The injured victim was treated at the scene before being transported to a hospital for further care. CHP officers are actively investigating the incident and searching for the driver responsible for fleeing the scene. Witnesses are encouraged to come forward with any information.
