Los Angeles, CA – Injuries Reported in 4-to-5 Vehicle Crash on I-5/Whittier Blvd

Los Angeles, CA (November 27, 2025) – A major multi-vehicle collision involving four to five vehicles caused injuries on Wednesday afternoon, November 26, on I-5 southbound near Whittier Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a white Dodge SUV, a white Ford Explorer, a white Mercedes van, a silver Honda Accord, and a Toyota sedan.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews arrived to assess those injured, and at least one person required ambulance transport for further medical care. CHP worked with multiple towing providers to clear the damaged vehicles and restore traffic flow. The crash caused significant congestion as investigators examined the scene to determine contributing factors.

Tow trucks accessed the site from Fourth Street due to the heavy blockage on the freeway. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities finalize their findings.
