Los Angeles, CA – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Rosecrans Ave Off-Ramp

Los Angeles, CA (January 20, 2026) – A multi-vehicle injury crash occurred on Sunday, January 19, on Interstate 5 southbound at the Rosecrans Avenue off-ramp. California Highway Patrol reports indicate a white Nissan Altima and a black Kia Forte were involved, along with a possible third unidentified vehicle.

The collision blocked fast lanes and impacted traffic flow through the area. CHP officers and Los Angeles fire personnel responded and arranged medical assistance. Multiple people were evaluated for injuries, with at least one person receiving additional medical care.

Tow trucks were authorized to remove vehicles using the center divide. Lanes were reopened after crews cleared the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
