Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 N/Colorado Blvd Causes Injuries
Los Angeles, CA (October 22, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on I-5 northbound near Colorado Boulevard left several people injured on Tuesday afternoon, October 22. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a white Toyota Sequoia, a white Toyota Prius, a black Honda, and a black Toyota Camry. The vehicles collided in the middle lanes, causing significant damage and traffic backups extending for several miles.
Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Police Department and fire crews arrived to assist those injured. At least two individuals were transported to nearby hospitals with moderate injuries, while others were treated at the scene.
CHP investigators spent hours examining the crash site to determine the cause, which may have been related to sudden braking and following too closely.
