Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 South at The Old Road Leaves Several Injured

Los Angeles, CA (August 24, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on the southbound lanes of I-5 at The Old Road left multiple people injured on August 23. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) confirmed the crash involved a white Toyota Camry, a gray BMW, and a white Honda. The accident occurred during mid-day traffic and forced several lanes to be shut down while emergency crews responded. CHP officers reported that the vehicles collided in the main lanes, leaving two cars heavily damaged and one vehicle spun sideways, blocking traffic. Paramedics were quickly dispatched to the scene, where they assessed the occupants for injuries. At least two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation, while others were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
