Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-5 N/Paramount Blvd Injures One

Los Angeles, CA (August 14, 2025) – A black Ford Expedition and a black Tesla collided on I-5 North at Paramount Boulevard Thursday afternoon, August 14, leaving at least one person injured. The accident was reported around 12:35 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol officers responded as first responders assessed the injured and cleared the scene. One person was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for further care. Investigators are reviewing the circumstances of the crash, which may have involved a lane merge.

Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles while CHP units directed traffic away from the blocked lanes. Motorists experienced delays lasting over an hour before the freeway returned to normal flow.
