Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/4th St. Leaves One Injured

Los Angeles, CA (July 21, 2025) – A traffic collision involving a white box truck and a white sedan occurred Monday afternoon, July 21, on the southbound Interstate 5 freeway near the 4th Street exit, resulting in at least one injury. The California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash. Initial accounts indicate that the white sedan collided with the rear of the box truck in moderate-speed traffic. First responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department provided immediate medical aid at the scene.

One person sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment. The nature and severity of the injuries have not yet been made public. Authorities temporarily blocked multiple lanes to clear debris and allow emergency responders to work safely. CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
