Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Los Feliz Blvd. Leaves Several Injured

Orange County, CA (August 28, 2025) – A collision between a white truck and a black sedan on the northbound I-5 at the Main Street HOV on-ramp left several people injured on Thursday. The crash occurred during the late morning commute, blocking portions of the carpool lane.

Orange County CHP officers confirmed that both drivers sustained injuries, with one victim transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The second driver was treated on-site for minor wounds. Witnesses reported that traffic quickly backed up as emergency crews secured the scene and assisted the injured. The impact caused major vehicle damage, leaving debris scattered across the HOV lanes.

Tow trucks were dispatched to remove both vehicles, and traffic remained slowed for nearly two hours. Authorities are investigating the collision to determine if unsafe lane changes or speed contributed to the crash.
