Mission Viejo, CA – Injuries Reported in I-5 N Collision at Oso Pkwy.

Mission Viejo, CA (August 1, 2025) – On the morning of August 1st, a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 North near the Oso Parkway exit in Orange County resulted in injuries and traffic delays through the construction zone. The California Highway Patrol officers arrived on the scene shortly after 8:40 a.m. and discovered a red 2014 Ford C-Max that had collided in the right-hand shoulder area. According to CHP reports, injuries were sustained by one of the involved vehicle’s occupants. The injured party was assessed by paramedics at the scene. No word on the extent of injuries sustained. A tow truck and another flatbed tow truck responded to assist with vehicle removal. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
