Newhall, CA – Four-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Near Quail Lake Rd Causes Injuries

Newhall, CA (October 14, 2025) – On October 14, a four-vehicle collision left several people injured on Interstate 5 northbound near Quail Lake Road. California Highway Patrol reported that multiple cars collided just after rush hour, creating a major traffic backup in the Newhall area.

Emergency responders arrived to assist those injured, with at least one victim transported to a nearby hospital for additional medical care. The crash left several vehicles with heavy damage, and tow crews were needed to remove the wreckage. Authorities closed down part of the freeway to allow responders to safely work, causing delays into the late evening. CHP is actively investigating the cause of the crash and has not released further details on the conditions of those involved.
