Newhall, CA – Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Vista Del Lago Rd.

Newhall, CA (July 22, 2025) – Two people were reportedly injured Tuesday evening, July 22, following a crash involving a black pickup truck and a gold sedan on Interstate 5 South near Vista Del Lago Road in Newhall. The collision occurred around 5:45 p.m., drawing a response from the California Highway Patrol and local emergency services. Witnesses reported that both vehicles sustained significant damage, with the pickup truck partially blocking a traffic lane. Upon arrival, first responders treated those injured at the scene. At least one individual was transported to a nearby hospital, while another received on-site assistance. Their conditions remain undisclosed at this time. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the wrecked vehicles from the highway. Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are currently working to determine the events leading up to the crash.
