Oceanside, CA – Two Injured in Crash on I-5 N near Basilone Rd.

Oceanside, CA (July 27, 2025) – A collision involving two passenger vehicles resulted in injuries on the morning of Saturday, July 26, on northbound I-5 near Basilone Road in Oceanside. According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:46 a.m. and involved a silver Toyota Yaris and a blue Chevrolet sedan. First responders from the San Diego County Fire Department and CHP quickly arrived at the scene to assist the victims. Two individuals suffered injuries, and one was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation, while the other was treated at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
