Oceanside, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Via De La Valle Leaves Injuries

Oceanside, CA (September 23, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 northbound near Via De La Valle left multiple people injured on Tuesday evening, September 23. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred around 7:24 p.m. and involved a black SUV and a black sedan.

CHP officers arrived shortly after the accident and found the damaged vehicles blocking part of the roadway. Paramedics responded to provide medical assistance, and at least one person was evaluated for injuries at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not yet been disclosed.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles, and traffic was briefly slowed in the northbound lanes as authorities cleared the scene. The crash remains under investigation to determine what caused the impact.
