Portland, OR – Injury Crash on I-5/Terwilliger Blvd.
Portland, OR (February 1, 2026) – An injury-related multi-vehicle crash was reported on January 31 on Interstate 5 southbound near Terwilliger Boulevard, according to Portland Police. The collision occurred near milepost 297 in the southbound lanes and involved multiple vehicles.
Officers arrived to find damaged vehicles blocking portions of the roadway, prompting temporary traffic disruptions in the area. At least one person sustained injuries in the crash. Portland Police said the injured individual was assessed at the scene and later transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.
Traffic investigators documented the scene and worked with tow operators to remove the vehicles involved. Southbound lanes were partially restricted while authorities conducted their on-site investigation. Drivers in the area experienced delays as the roadway was gradually reopened.
