Portland, OR – Several Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Terwilliger Blvd. Exit
Portland, OR (October 7, 2025) – Several people were injured on October 7 after a collision involving multiple vehicles on southbound I-5 near Exit 297 and Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard. Portland Police responded to the scene just after 5:00 p.m. following reports of a crash that blocked multiple lanes during rush hour. Preliminary details indicate that at least three vehicles were involved, including a sedan and two SUVs.
Emergency crews provided medical attention to the victims, and at least two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The damaged vehicles were towed from the roadway after officers completed their on-site investigation. Traffic in the area was significantly impacted but later resumed normal flow. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
