Sacramento, CA – Five-Vehicle Crash on I-5/I-80 Con. Leaves Major Injuries
Sacramento, CA (December 29, 2025) – A five-vehicle collision on the Interstate 5 North to I-80 East connector in North Sacramento resulted in major injuries on Saturday, December 28.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), officers arrived to find a gray Toyota Prius, a gray Honda Civic, a white Ford, a blue Toyota Prius, and a white Ford Fusion involved in the crash. One vehicle was reported in a ditch, while others were stopped along the shoulder and across the ramp.
Sacramento Fire Department personnel assisted at the scene, and one injured victim was transported to Kaiser North by Fire after suffering a broken right foot and leg. Other individuals involved were evaluated at the scene for possible injuries.
Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles, and the connector ramp remained partially blocked while CHP investigated the cause of the collision.
