Sacramento, CA – Two-Car Crash on I-5 Con. Ramp at Broadway Injures Victims
Sacramento, CA (September 2, 2025) – On Tuesday afternoon, September 2nd, a two-car accident occurred on the I-5 North connector at US-50 East near the Broadway off-ramp in South Sacramento, resulting in injuries.
The California Highway Patrol reported that a gray Honda Accord collided with a white SUV around 12:26 p.m. Both vehicles sustained significant damage, leaving debris scattered across the roadway. Emergency crews responded and provided on-site treatment to the injured. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for additional care. Traffic was slowed for more than an hour as crews cleared the scene and investigated the crash. Officers are working to determine the cause, including whether speeding or sudden lane changes contributed.
