Sacramento, CA (August 18, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on northbound Interstate 5 near Del Paso Road left at least one person injured Monday evening. The accident occurred around 6:15 p.m. on August 18, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Officials reported that two silver sedans collided and came to rest on the right shoulder of the interstate. Emergency responders provided medical assistance at the scene, and one victim required transport to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. The crash disrupted evening traffic as lanes were partially blocked during cleanup and investigation. CHP officers interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence to determine how the collision unfolded.
