San Diego, CA – Four-Vehicle Pileup on I-5 at I-15 Con. Causes Injuries
San Diego, CA (September 2, 2025) – A four-vehicle accident occurred on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 at the I-15 connector on Tuesday afternoon, September 2, leaving several people injured.
California Highway Patrol officers reported the crash around 1:30 p.m. Emergency crews arrived quickly to find four cars damaged on the right-hand shoulder of the highway.
Victims sustained varying levels of injuries, with paramedics providing first aid at the scene and transporting at least one person to a local hospital for further treatment. The collision caused heavy traffic delays along the busy interchange as lanes were partially blocked during the cleanup process. The involved vehicles were significantly damaged and later towed from the scene. CHP investigators are still working to establish the cause of the crash.
