San Diego, CA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/6th Ave.
San Diego, CA (November 11, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and several cars left multiple people injured on Interstate 5 southbound near 6th Avenue on Tuesday, November 11. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene shortly after 6:55 p.m. to find a motorcycle down and several vehicles, including a white van and a blue sedan, blocking multiple lanes.
The San Diego Fire Department closed lanes one through three to assist victims and contain hazards. One motorcyclist reportedly suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, while other individuals were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles, and traffic was restored after an extended cleanup operation. CHP officers are investigating the sequence of events that led to the crash.
