San Diego, CA – Injury Crash on I-5 N near SR-56

San Diego, CA (November 6, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 5 North just north of State Route 56 resulted in injuries on Thursday, November 6. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision involved a black heavy-duty truck and a white Toyota Tacoma.

Both vehicles sustained front-end damage, and emergency responders were called to the scene to assist those injured. Paramedics treated at least one person at the site before transporting them to a local hospital for further care. Traffic in the northbound lanes was slowed for nearly an hour as crews cleared the wreckage and documented the scene.
