San Diego, CA – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-5/La Jolla Pkwy Leaves Several Injured

San Diego, CA (October 7, 2025) – Multiple injuries were reported following a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 southbound near State Route 52, just north of La Jolla Parkway, on Tuesday morning, October 7. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a gray Kia Rio, a dark green Mini Cooper, and a blue Toyota pickup truck. The vehicles reportedly collided in the middle lanes, causing significant traffic delays along the busy stretch of I-5.

Paramedics and officers from the San Diego Police Department arrived promptly to assist the injured. At least two people sustained moderate injuries and were transported to a nearby medical facility for evaluation and treatment. Others were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
