Santa Ana, CA – Injuries in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at Red Hill Ave

Santa Ana, CA (July 22, 2025) – A traffic collision involving two vehicles resulted in injuries on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Red Hill Avenue early Tuesday morning, July 22. The crash was reported at around 6:46 a.m., prompting a rapid response from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Orange County. Upon arrival, officers found that the crash had partially blocked the slow lanes, causing congestion during the morning commute. Emergency medical personnel arrived on the scene to provide care. At least one individual sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Another was evaluated on-site and did not require hospitalization.
