Santa Ana, CA – Injury Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N Near 1st St.

Santa Ana, CA (September 23, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 northbound near 1st Street left injuries on Tuesday, September 23. The California Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 5:27 p.m. when a silver Lexus sedan collided with a white Ford pickup truck in the gore point area.

CHP units arrived on scene and blocked part of the roadway while emergency crews assisted the victims. Paramedics evaluated those involved and confirmed that injuries occurred, though the exact number and severity of the injuries have not yet been reported. At least one person was transported to a nearby medical facility for further care. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were later towed from the scene.
